Open the Netgear Router AC 1200 box and inspect if there are any damages.
Place the antennas that are attacsubhed to the router facing upwards.
Restart your modem to which you want to connect your router.
Link your Modem and the NETGEAR AC 1200 router using the Ethernet cable.
Connect your device to a power source and wait until the power LED is lit green.
Check if the wi-fi LED is lit on your router to confirm the wi-fi connection.
Launch the Netgear settings page and log in using the default credentials.
Pursue with the on-screen prompts to configure the settings.
Wait until the router's internet LED is lit green to ensure the network connection on your router setup.

How do I Log into my Netgear AC1200?

Turn on your device and launch a web browser of your choice on it.
You can open any browser such as Firefox, Chrome, or Internet Explorer.
Specify http://www.routerlogin.net or http://www.routerlogin.com in the address bar by following How do I Log into my Netgear AC1200.
You can also key in the IP address of the router in the search bar. Press the Enter button.
In the next screen when the Connection is Not Secure message displays, click Proceed to go to the next screen.
Key in the proper username and password in the next prompt.
The username will be Admin and the default password is password itself. Make sure you enter the correct password.
Once you specify the correct password, you will be directed to the web management page of your router.
Make any changes if you want in the web utility page.
